No more Pacifier?

I think Landen is finally done with his pacifier. He has had only one for about a month now and today we haven't been able to find it. We looked everywhere. He asked for it a few times this morning and a few times through the day. But he took a nap with out it and tonight when I put him to bed he didn't even ask for it. I am so excited. When I first started trying to take his pacifier away he grew more attached and had to have it all the time. So I am hoping that this is the end of his pacifier.

Back to the gym

I went to the gym today and it felt so nice to go back. I have been so ready to start working out again. I went to a yoga class. It has been so long sense I have stretched so it felt so good. I already feel like I have so much more energy, even without the sleep. I am ready to start loosing this baby weight too. I gained so much extra weight this time. I know Landen will enjoy getting out of the house every morning too. He loves going to the gym and getting to be around other kids.

We have been getting a lot of snow this past week. It has been so cold. About two weeks ago we had such beautiful weather. It stayed in the 70s most of the time. Now we are back down to the 30s and 40s. I am ready for it to warm up again. It was such a tease to have that nice weather. I want to be able to go out side and absorb the sun and let Landen run around.

Dade is growing way to fast. He is already weighing 10 lbs. He is doing so good though. He is sleeping better at night. He only wakes up once or twice through the night. We just moved Landens' room around getting ready to put Dade in the room with him. Dade can be quite noisy when he sleeps so it will be nice to not have his grunting waking me up at night.

Drew only has 5 weeks left of this semester and he is very ready for it to be over. He has also been studying for the test for the Border Patrol. He will be applying for the job next month. If he gets the job we are hoping that we can get back to Tucson or close by. We really hope Drew gets this job. It would help us out in so many ways.

Big Brother

Dade is already almost a month old. He is doing really good. He is trying to hold his head up already and doing a pretty good job of it. He has already grown so much. Landen is doing so good with him. He is always giving him hugs and kisses. He is such a good big brother. The other day Dade was crying and Drew and I were both busy and couldn't get to him right away. So Landen decided to help and got his pacifier and held it in his mouth for him. It is so cute to watch Landen with Dade.

Drew is back at work now and all our family has left. I am so thankful that our family was able to come visit and help us out. It has been hard going from so much help to none at all. I am trying to figure out how to split my time between both kids and still have a little time to myself. I am doing good just really tired. I feel like I have recovered quicker with this c-section then I did with the first. I am ready to get back to the gym and get back into shape. I am also ready for Landen to get to play at the daycare at the gym so he can get out of the house and play with other kids.

He loves to hold his little brother
